Safety Solutions and LFT Technologies announced the approval by NASCAR of their new Hutchens Hybrid (Hybrid) head and neck restraint as an available option for all NASCAR touring series drivers. Effectively immediately, the Hybrid will be available for use for drivers during private testing. Beginning July 13, the device will be allowed for use during actual competition. With this approval, the Hybrid now joins the HANS Device as the only head and neck restraint systems allowed by NASCAR for use by their drivers.(Safety Solutions PR)(2-9-2007)
