NASCAR has opted not to use the chicane in the first turn for this year’s Telcel-Motorola Mexico 200 at Mexico City. The Busch Series cars will have different gearing, which will allow NASCAR to make the change as the cars won’t be as fast going down the main straightaway and can go into turn 1 at a safe speed, Busch Series Director Joe Balash said Friday.
