NASCAR CEO Brian France is scheduled to deliver the address as part of the annual NASCAR Public Relations Summit.(SPEED PR), hearing the #17 and #9 penalties could be announced at this press conference.(2-13-2006) UPDATE: there was no announcement on the penalties during the press conference, NASCAR’s Jim Hunter said before Brian France spoke, that the announcement would come later this afternoon. Sirius NASCAR Radio reports that the crew chiefs will be suspended immediately, fined and the team/drivers could be penalized points.(2-13-2007)
