All three NASCAR series will run the same tire codes this weekend at Daytona, though the Nextel Cup and Busch Series tires will be branded “Goodyear Eagle,” while the Craftsman Truck Series tires will be branded “Goodyear Wrangler” . . . all three series ran this left-side code (D-4000) at Daytona throughout 2006 . . . Busch Series teams also ran this right-side code (D-4006) at the track last July, while the Cup cars returned for that second visit with the same right-side code they ran in February . . . while this is the first Cup and Truck races at Daytona for this right-side code, all NASCAR teams did run it at Talladega throughout 2006.(Goodyear PR), see full report on my Daytona 500 Race Info Page.(2-16-2007)
