Busch Series teams will get nine sets of tires this weekend for the Sam’s Town 300 at Las Vegas instead of the six sets they get for use during other race weekends. Because NASCAR has decreased the size of the fuel cells from about 18 gallons to 13 gallons for this race in order to reduce the risk of a tire failure, the sanctioning body had to make sure teams had enough tires to change them at the end of a fuel run.(SceneDaily.com)(3-9-2007)
