Headed into Sunday’s UAW-Daimler-Chrysler 400, #8-Dale Earnhardt Jr. isn’t concerned about his 40th place point standings. I’m not really worry about it; said Earnhardt Jr. I’m upset we’ve finished how we have but there’s nothing we can really do about it. If I was 40th in points with the chase two races way I’d be really upset¦very upset¦but it’s early in the season and we’ve got time to remedy it. Nobody is panicking on the Bud Chevy team and that includes the driver. According to Earnhardt Jr.; I think getting worried or panicky won’t improve the situation; it’ll only spread through my team like a virus. Panic is very contagious so you really have to have a positive outlook and try to propose that on the team that they work hard to try and come out of it. The team has had no luck the first two races of the season suffering a blown motor at California and getting swept up in a crash at Daytona. I can only do what I can do said Dale Jr. We’ll try and come back the best we can and get the best finishes we can to get out of that hole. I think we’ll be able to do that.(PRN’s Garage Pass Radio Show)(3-9-2007)
