Bristol Goodyear Tire Notes:

Both the Nextel Cup and Busch Series will run the same tire codes at Bristol this weekend . . . this is the first time Goodyear has brought this specific combination of left- and right-side tires to the track . . . both the left- and right-side codes feature different mold types, construction and compounds from what Goodyear brought to Bristol last year . . . unlike on other NASCAR ovals one mile or less in length, teams are required to run inner liners in their right-side tires only at Bristol . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire. Estimated Pit Window is every 120-130 laps, based on fuel mileage.(Goodyear PR), see full notes on my Bristol Race Info/Rundown page.(3-23-2007)
