Brad Keselowski was sitting on the back of a hauler at the Milwaukee Mile, talking about the Busch Series and Saturday night’s AT&T 250. But Keselowski wasn’t on a race hauler. His team, Keith Coleman Racing, wasn’t at Milwaukee, the second race in a row the #23 team had skipped. Keselowski said that was planned as the team regrouped after crashing its final car in its inventory at Dover three weeks ago. The team wanted to come back for the race at Daytona after getting more cars built, but Keselowski said there are no cars ready for the next two races at Daytona and Chicago. That’s why Keselowski was sitting on the back of a parts truck, hoping to find a seat in another Busch car. “The next few weeks, the future’s very uncertain,” Keselowski said. “We’re just here hanging out, hoping to put something together and do a little driving in the meantime.”(SceneDaily.com)(6-23-2007)
UPDATE: Keith Coleman Racing is temporarily suspending race operations. Over the past couple of weeks Keith Coleman, team owner, has been experiencing symptoms of cardio vascular disease, including chest pains, and shortness of breath with exertion. After a complete work up another health issue was found in addition to the cadio vascular disease that will require Mr. Coleman to change his current lifestyle to undergo further diagnostic tests and treatment.(Keith Coleman Racing PR)(6-25-2007)
