NASCAR still plans on taking the Busch Series to Mexico City next year, although the race most likely will run during an off weekend in April. Mexico City was the third Busch race of the season for the last three years, but Las Vegas has announced its Busch-Sprint Cup weekend would be a week earlier in 2008, which puts it in that slot. “We’re looking to continue to have it on an off weekend, which probably will be sometime in late April,” NASCAR Vice President of Racing Operations Steve O’Donnell said Saturday morning.(SceneDaily.com)(8-4-2007)
