Country music recording artist Trent Willmon will sing the national anthem before the Food City 250 Busch Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway on Friday, Aug. 24 while the anthem for the sold-out Sharpie 500 on Saturday night will be performed by the children of NASCAR drivers. Willmon will release his third album, “Broken In,” on January 22, 2008. The first single from that album, “There Is A God,” hit the airwaves earlier this month. Some of Willmon’s hit songs are “On Again Tonight,” “Beer Man,” “Dixie Rose Deluxe’s,” and “Home Sweet Holiday Inn.” A native of Texas, Willmon, who is also the host of CMT’s reality show “America’s Top Cowboy,” is looking forward to performing in front of the more than 100,000 fans that will be in attendance at the Food City 250.(Bristol Motor Speedway PR)(8-15-2007)
