With a pair of top-15 finishes in three Busch Series starts, Brad Keselowski is apparently close to cementing a deal that would land him in the #88 Chev7 for the rest of the 2007 season. “Well, we know for sure we’re going to run two [more] races, contractually,” the Michigan native said Saturday at Michigan International Speedway. “Verbally, Junior wants me to run the whole year. UPDATE: Brad Keselowski of Rochester Hills drove in the Busch race Saturday for JR Motorsports, owned by Earnhardt, and he will drive next weekend at Bristol. Apparently there are just some final details to work out for a contract that would carry him through the rest of this season. Mike Davis of JR Motorsports said a deal could be finalized by the end of this race weekend. Keselowski has driven four times for Earnhardt this season.(Detroit News)(8-19-2007)
