Robert Earl Tex Trigg, 68, formerly of Lookout Mountain, Georgia, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2007 in Huntersville, North Carolina. A native of Brownsville, Texas, he had lived on Lookout Mountain for 12 years and had been a resident of Statesville, NC for the past 17 years. Mr. Trigg was employed as a machinist with Joe Gibbs Racing, served in both the U.S. Army & Air Force and was a member of the Remington Gun Club. His first wife, Charlotte Mae Trigg, preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Trigg; daughters, Kim Crocker, Kannapolis, NC, Donna Blevins, Lookout Mtn., GA, Tina Nelson, Douglasville, GA, & Toni Trigg, Chattanooga Valley; step-children, Julie Dove, Statesville, NC, & Scott Haldane, Andover, NJ; thirteen grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the South Crest Chapel with Bishop Billy Blevins officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Lookout Mountain.
