The first day [of two] of COT testing at Talladega Super Speedway had 70 cars doing drafting testing in the late afternoon session. The fastest was #70H-Sauter at 196.165mph then #1A-Truex Jr., #40A-Stremme, #9A-Kahne and #42A- Montoya. The fastest Ford was #16A-Biffle – 12th and the fastest Toyota was #27A-Villeneuve – 11th.
