Scott to make short-track debut at Martinsville: UPDATE: sponsor added:

Brian Scott takes another major step in his development this weekend when he makes his NASCAR short track debut in the Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway. Scott will now permanently take over the reins of the #16 Strutmasters.com Ford prepared by Xpress Motorsports. Scott made his first NASCAR Craftsman Truck start at New Hampshire and followed that up with a start at Las Vegas but yielded to veteran Derrike Cope at Talladega. Scott will now finish out the year in the Xpress Motorsports entry and will run for NCTS Rookie of the Year in 2008.(Xpress Motorsports PR)(10-16-2007)
UPDATE: Strutmasters, a Roxboro, NC based supplier of shocks and struts for most any automobile, has rejoined forces with Xpress Motorsports and will serve as an associate sponsor of the #16 Ford for the final five races of the 2007 NCTS season. Strutmasters previously served as an associate sponsor with Xpress Motorsports in 2006 and was on board for Mike Bliss’ win at Atlanta Motor Speedway last October.(Xpress Motorsports PR)(10-17-2007)
