52 cars took to the track testing at Daytona International Speedway in Day 5 overall of testing and Day 2 of Session 2 on Tuesday. #88A-Earnhardt Jr. was the fastest in single car runs Tuesday morning at 185.820mph [the fastest overall single car run so far]. #55-Waltrip was 2nd fastest [and 6th in his 2nd car] followed by three more Toyota’s. #83A-Vickers, #44A-Jarrett and #20A-Stewart. #40-Franchitti was the fastest Dodge at 7th and #38B-Gilliland was the fastest Ford at 15th. Slowest were #57A-Benning at 175.097 and #08A-Long at 178.536. This afternoon, drafting testing will start, some teams will run single cars runs, but they are not usually reported as such.(NASCAR Media).
