Due to threat of rain, lunch was cancelled and only one session was run in the final day of testing at Daytona International Speedway on Wednesday. The rain never came and the session lasted until 4:00pm/et. #9B-Kahne was the fastest in a Dodge at 189.111mph [the fastest overall of both weeks of testing], followed by #11B-Denny Hamlin in a Toyota, #40-Franchitti in a Dodge, #01A-Smith in a Chevy and #12B-Newman in a Dodge. The fastest Ford was #6B-Ragan at 10th. #88B-Earnhardt Jr. was 19th fastest. Slowest of the 52 cars were #57A-Benning at 179.386 and #15B-Menard at 180.766.
