75 cars took laps today in Day 2 of testing at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the fastest in the AM session was #99B-Edwards in a Ford at 184.256mph [almost as fast as the track record of #9-Kahne set in 2007….184.856mph], followed by #00B-Reutimann in a Toyota, #18-Busch in a Toyota, #17B-Kenseth in a ford and #20A-Stewart in a Toyota. The fastest Dodge was #12B-Newman in 7th and the fastest Chevy was #24A-Gordon in 8th. #31A-Burton smacked the wall and did right side damage to the car. There will be one more session in the afternoon, then the teams travel to the California Speedway near Los Angeles for testing on Thursday and Friday.
