a much lighter car count of 42 ran laps under the lights at California Speedway testing with #99A-Edwards running the quickest lap in a Ford of 181.228mph, followed by the Ford of #17A-Kenseth, the Toyota of #55A-Waltrip, #16B-Biffle in a Ford and #26B-McMurray in a Ford. The fastest Chevy was #1A-Truex, Jr. at 7th and the fastest Dodge was #9A-Kahne in 12th. Testing contines Friday with a morning and afternoon session.
