Richie Wauters [crew chief for #51] confirmed that Kyle Busch will miss the Series next race at Kansas, consequently giving up the points lead. The team looked at every possible scenario in which Busch could drive his Sprint Cup and Nationwide cars at Talladega, Ala., and also travel to Kansas, but nothing appeared feasible.
