Teams in both the Sprint Cup and Craftsman Truck Series will run the same tire codes at New Hampshire this weekend, though the Cup tires will be branded “Goodyear Eagle,” while the Truck tires will be branded “Goodyear Wrangler” . . . this is the same combination of left- and right-side tires that Goodyear brought for teams in the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series to run at New Hampshire earlier this season . . . also, teams in these two series ran this exact tire set-up last weekend — Sprint Cup at Richmond and Craftsman Truck at Gateway . . . in addition to above-mentioned tracks, teams in NASCAR’s top-three series have run this specific tire set-up at Phoenix, Indianapolis Raceway Park, Memphis and Milwaukee this season . . . as on most NASCAR mile-tracks, teams will not run inner liners in their tires at New Hampshire. The estimated pit window is every 74-78 laps, based on fuel mileage.(Goodyear PR). See pressures, codes and more on my New Hampshire Race Info page.(9-12-2008)
