The first day of testing at Lowe’s Motor Speedway, the first session in the afternoon, 51 drivers driving 66 cars made runs. The fastest in the Day 1 afternoon session was #88B-Earnhardt Jr at 182.642mph, followed by #16-Biffle, #8-Martin, #18B-Busch, and #6-Ragan. Some other drivers of interest: #84-Skinner was 18th, #82-Scott Speed was 26th, #25-Brad Keselowski was 39th, and #02-Logano was 44th. There were no incidents during the session.
