Specialty Racing left their Statesville, NC shop Monday to head to Daytona International Speedway for the 2009 Nationwide Series season opener. The #61 Ford and driver Brandon Whitt are entered in this weekend’s Camping World 300 at the storied track. The team, which finished in the top-30 in the 2008 Nationwide Series Owner Standings, has a secured starting spot for the first five events of the season.
