Chief Lighting Officer Ready to Turn On the Lights

Atlanta Motor Speedways Chief Lighting Officer is eagerly anticipating his responsibility of turning on the lights for Atlantas first NASCAR Sprint Cup night race. Jack Welch was selected from more than 750 entrants to serve as the tracks Chief Lighting Officer in a promotional earlier this year. As Atlantas CLO, Welch will make history as he flips the switch to turn on the lights, receives VIP for the Pep Boys Auto 500 and participates in pre-race festivities. We are very excited about the trip and being involved with turning the lights on at Atlanta Motor Speedway, said Welch, a resident of Pearl, Miss. What a great way to celebrate my birthday weekend! Welchs birthday is Sept. 7.(AMS)(9-4-2009)
