NASCAR driver #11-Denny Hamlin has recovered the luxury car that was stolen from his driveway. Police in Charlotte, N.C., contacted the driver last week to say they had arrested a woman who was found inside the car a day after surveillance video of the theft was released. Police had hoped the footage would lead to information about the heist. The 2008 Lexus LS was reported stolen Aug. 18. The car is owned by Toyota Motorsales and valued at $50,000. Police records show Tomaceeta Hampton was arrested Sept. 5 and charged with possessing a stolen vehicle.(Associated Press)(9-11-2009)
