With his eighth place finish at Homestead-Miami Speedway, Hornaday and the #33 Silverado team led by Rick Ren delivered the 2009 NCWTS owners championship for the second time to Kevin and DeLana Harvick, co-owners of Kevin Harvick, Inc. In claiming both the 2009 NCWTS driver and owner crowns, KHI claimed nine victories this season. Hornaday captured his title with six wins this season.
