Parker Kligerman and Team 42 Racing will be attempting to qualify for the Aaron’s 312 at Talladega Superspeedway on April 24. This race will be the fifth of the year that the team will attempt. Talladega was not originally on the team’s schedule for this season, but with the rainout at Daytona in February, the team, unlike many others who lost their primary restrictor plate cars to wrecks, has a pristine car ready to go. There is also the fact that the Aaron’s 312 will be the last restrictor plate race for the current Nationwide Series cars. The Subway Jalapeno 250 at Daytona on July 2nd will be the first race for the new Nationwide cars that will be used full-time in 2011. As a result, there is the impetus to make use of the available car now, since after Talladega, it will be nearly useless.(Frontstretch)(4-16-2010)
