Kyle Busch won the Tech-Net Auto Service 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It was his 35th series victory in his 185th race. It was Busch’s sixth Charlotte win in 14 races, tying Mark Martin for the most. Busch has won four of the past five at CMS.
Busch posted his 71st NASCAR win across the three major series.
Busch led once for 64 laps. He has led in all 12 Nationwide races in 2010. He is 91 laps short of passing Mark Martin for the most laps led all-time in the series.
Busch was nearly two laps down and as low as 32nd after a loose wheel and serving a pit-speeding penalty on Lap 53.
Joe Gibbs Racing posted its 48th series victory and sixth win in 2010, leading all owners. JGR has won six of the past seven 1.5-mile races.
Toyota posted its fourth Charlotte victory, all by Busch, and sixth win in 2010, leading all teams.
Points leader Brad Keselowski (second) led the most laps for just the fifth time in his career. He has led more laps in 2010 than in all of 2009. Keselowski has a one-point lead over second-place Busch, but Busch and Harvick (third in points) are not running the full season. Carl Edwards is fourth in points, 257 off the pace.
Joey Logano (third) scored his eighth top-10 finish in his nine starts in 2010.
Justin Allgaier (fourth) scored his first top-10 finish since starting the year with five top-10 finishes.
Ryan Newman (fifth) has top-5 finishes in both starts this season.
