Kyle Busch won the Dollar General 300 Friday at Chicagoland Speedway. It was Busch’s 37th Nationwide Series win in his 188th start. He passed Kevin Harvick for second on the series all-time wins list and trails Mark Martin by 11 for most wins in series history.
Busch posted his series-leading seventh win of 2010. It was his second Nationwide Chicagoland win in seven starts. Busch has won four of his previous five Nationwide starts.
Busch led four times for a race-high 110 laps.
Joe Gibbs Racing posted its 51st series victory and its ninth win of 2010, the most of all teams.
Toyota swept the top five finishing positions for the first time in the series.
Joey Logano (second) finished in the top 10 for his 10th straight race.
Brian Scott (third) posted his career-best finish in his 25th start and was the best-finishing rookie of the year contender.
David Reutimann (fourth) had his best finish in three starts this season.
Jason Leffler (fifth) matched his best finish of the season for the third time.
Brad Keselowski (21st) ran out of gas coming to the final restart on Lap 202 and finished off the lead lap for first time in 2010.
Danica Patrick (24th) had her career-best finish in her fifth series start.
The race ended under green-white-checkered conditions for the first time in 10 Nationwide races at Chicagoland and the sixth time in 2010.(ESPN.com)(7-12-2010)
