B.J. McLeod, driving the #9-Boggy Creek Airboat Rides Chevrolet, is about to reach the goal of competing in his first NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Saturday October 23rd, at Martinsville Speedway. McLeod met local businessman, Chris Long following a late model race at New Smyrna, who subsequently helped provide equipment and team personal for future races. McLeod went on to win the 2010 World Series of Asphalt during NASCAR Speedweeks in February. “The week after the race, Chris (Long) told me we should consider buying a Camping World truck to race at Martinsville. I got on the phone immediately with suppliers. Two days later we agreed to build a truck from the ground up,” said McLeod. Since February I have met so many cool people in Mooresville who have helped me get this truck from parts lying on the floor to the most awesome looking truck you have ever seen. Everyone who has helped me get to the track does not want me to give them any credit, but I could not be here without their tireless effort and support.”(BJ McLeod PR)[Rendering of the #9-Boggy Creek Airboat Rides Chevrolet is posted on the #9 NCWTS Paint Schemes Page.](10-20-2010)
