McDonalds will make its final appearance of the 2010 season as the primary sponsor of the #1 Chevy driven by Jamie McMurray this weekend at Phoenix. McDonalds was welcomed aboard as co-primary on McMurrays #1 Chevy for the Las Vegas race in February, and continued for ten more races (not including Phoenix). The stats with McDonalds on the hood are very impressive, as McMurray has accumulated three poles (of 4 total), three top-five, four top-10, and seven top-15 finishes for an average start of 10th and an average finish of 16th. McMurray has also led 174 laps, or 50% of his total laps led, with the Golden Arches on the hood. McMurray will be visiting the Ronald McDonald House of Phoenix, Thursday, Nov 11, to have dinner and visit with the many families that take advantage of the home in Phoenix (EGR)(11-10-2010)
