For the first time in 2012, the #22 Richard Childress Racing Chevrolet with driver Joey Coulter will sport the black and green colors of sponsor American Ethanol. American Ethanol, a renewable source of cleaner burning energy from the bounty of America’s farmers, helps create new green jobs and a renewed sense of pride for the American worker, while helping to achieve greater energy security for our country. Led by Growth Energy, more than 100 different entities, from farmers and state corn growing boards to ethanol producers and biotech companies, are working with NASCAR to introduce a cleaner-burning fuel to America. The partnership with American Ethanol takes NASCAR’s environmental commitment to the next level. Coulter has one previous start at the 0.875-mile facility in the Camping World Truck Series. After qualifying second for the 2011 Coca-Cola 200, Coulter finished the 200-lap event in the fifth position. Coulter has two starts at the Newton, Iowa-based track in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, with his best finish of fifth in 2009. After recording his fourth top-10 finish of the 2012 season at Kentucky Speedway last month, Coulter improved one position, to seventh in the Camping World Truck Series driver championship point standings.(Richard Childress Racing PR) [Image of the #22 American Ethanol Chevrolet is posted on the #22 NCWTS 2012 Paint Schemes page.](7-10-2012)
