Empire Racing & Corr making series debut at Pocono; to pay tribute to fallen soldier:

Empire Racing and driver Sean Corr will be making their debut in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series starting with the Pennsylvania Mountains 125 at Pocono Raceway. This is the first in a few selected races in 2012 for Sean. “Leonard Bus Sales, a long time marketing partner, is coming back with us at Pocono with a very special military tribute to SSG Justin Whiting. Staff Sgt. Justin R. Whiting, 27, was killed in action on his third tour when his vehicle was struck by an IED while conducting combat operations. He was a Special Forces medical sergeant assigned to Company B, 3rd Battalion, 5th Special Forces Group Airborne. His awards and decorations include: two Bronze Star Medals, the Meritorious Service Medal, two Army Commendation Medals, two Army Achievement Medals, two Army Good Conduct Medals, the National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, two Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbons, Army Service Ribbon, Combat Medical Badge, Parachutist Badge, and Special Forces Tab.
