The Kansas Speedway track reconfiguration and road course project is about to take the checkered flag, weather permitting, in a few days. There are just a few areas on the apron that need some last paving, along with pit road. The road course still needs guardrails and tire barriers, along with a few other finishing touches.(Kansas Speedway)(8-16-2012)
