Teams in all three NASCAR series in action at Atlanta this weekend will run the same tire codes, though the Sprint Cup and Nationwide tires will be branded ‘Goodyear Eagle,’ while the Camping World Truck tires will be branded ‘Goodyear Wrangler’ . . . this is the same combination of left- and right-side tires that teams in all three of these series ran at Atlanta last season . . . Sprint Cup and Nationwide teams also ran this exact tire set-up at Atlanta in September 2010 . . . this left-side tire code dates back to the spring 2010 races at Atlanta in the Cup and Truck series, though it was run with a different right-side code . . . as on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run liners in all four tire positions at Atlanta. . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire. See tire codes, pressures and more on the Atlanta Race Info page – Goodyear section.(8-29-2012)
