Martinsville Speedway and PepsiCo today announced an extension of their 65-year partnership with a new multi-year beverage contract. PepsiCo beverages, including iconic brands such as Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Gatorade, Aquafina and Brisk, will continue to be exclusively served at the track, while Pepsi will remain the official soft drink of Martinsville Speedway. The renewed agreement continues one of the longest running partnerships in the history of racing. PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay snacks are also sold at the track through Martinsville Speedway’s foodservice distributor Americrown. Founded in 1947 by the late H. Clay Earles, Martinsville Speedway is only track remaining on the NASCAR Sprint Cup circuit that hosted an event in the series ‘ inaugural year, 1949.(Martinsville Speedway)(8-30-2012)
