SPEEDs Ray Dunlap posted on his Twitter account that driver turned owner Stacy Compton will be returning to Truck Series competition in 2013, fielding trucks for Dakoda Armstrong. Comptons Turn One Racing team sat out the bulk of the 2012 NCWTS season due to funding. Armstrong spent the majority of his 2012 behind the wheel of the #98 for ThorSport Racing, with a best finish of third at Michigan Intl Speedway. He posted, ‘Good news, I am going to be running a full truck season and I will also be doing some Nationwide races. Compton, a Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series veteran driver founded Turn One Racing in 2006 and has competed as an owner at both the Truck and Sprint Cup Series levels, including a top-10 NCWTS finish in points with driver Cole Whitt in 2011. Since the early 1990s Story has worked with some of sports most recognizable organizations including Walt Disney World, International Speedway Corporation, Greg Normans Great White Shark Enterprises, Robby Gordon Motorsports and Dale Earnhardt Inc. In early 2012 he sold his interest in Revolution Racing, NASCARs Drive For Diversity (D4D) initiative, a NASCAR K&N Series and NASCAR Late Model team he co-founded and led into becoming the most successful on-track D4D initiative to date.
