Halfway thru practice, #1-McMurray lost an engine, the team will change engines and the #1 will start at the rear of the field on Sunday. #9-Ambrose had a loose oil line 8 minutes into practice, but the track was cleaned and practice continued. No serious damage to the #9. In the event that qualifying is cancelled, this practice would set the lineup, top 36 by speed, then by race attempts and then set by speed.
