Goodyear Tire Notes for Michigan:

Teams in both NASCAR series in action at Michigan this weekend will run the same right-side tire code, though they will run different left-side codes . . . . this is the same combination of left- and right-side tires that Sprint Cup teams ran at Michigan earlier this season and in August last season . . . this is also the same tire set-up that Cup teams have run at the last two races at Kansas April 2013 and October 2012 . . . as on all NASCAR ovals greater than one mile in length, teams are required to run inner liners on all four tire positions at Michigan . . . air pressure in those inner liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire (Goodyear), see tire codes, pressures and more on the Michigan Race Info page – Goodyear section .
