The rating and viewership were down from last years race, which earned a 3.2 U.S. rating and averaged 5,199,791 viewers. ESPNs live telecast of the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on Saturday, Aug. 17, earned a 0.9 U.S. rating, averaging 1,287,466 viewers.
