Armed Forces Foundation ‘Troops to the Track” Program heads to Richmond:

The Armed Forces Foundation and NASCAR continue the 2013 Troops to the Track program on Saturday, September 7th by bringing service members of the Explosive Ordnance Technicians (EOD Techs) from the Capitol Region. EOD Techs are responsible for the disarming and disposal of Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs). These service members are highly-trained military professionals serving in the Army, Marines, Navy, and Air Force and will get to enjoy a special day of NASCAR-style VIP activities at the racetrack. 2013 season of Troops to the Track, a program in which service members are treated to a daylong interactive at-track experience, which includes: a special invitation and recognition at the drivers pre-race meeting, a private tour of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series garage, pit road access during driver introductions / National Anthem and special seating in the grandstands.
