Teams in both the NASCAR Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series will run the same tire codes at Richmond this week . . . this is the same combination of left- and right-side tires that teams in both series ran at Richmond earlier this season . . . in fact, this tire set-up has been run at Richmond since the beginning of 2011 . . . Sprint Cup and Nationwide teams have also run this left-side tire code with a different right-side code at Bristol in 2013 . . . as on most NASCAR ovals one mile or less in length, teams will not run inner liners in their tires at Richmond (Goodyear).
