Clauson wins Chili Bowl:

Bryan Clauson won the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals on Saturday night in Tulsa, Okla. To win the 2014 Golden Driller trophy, Clauson had to hold off four-time and defending champion Kevin Swindell, who finished second after starting 14th. ‘I’m just really relieved I didn’t throw it away because these guys are really good,’ Bryan Clauson said after the final race. I said it last night in the Press Conference that I felt like I had a car that could compete for the win tonight from the time we unloaded the car. It was really going to be a matter of not burying ourselves.’ The 28th Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals saw the record for driver attendance tied at 281 set in 2009. Oklahoma native Christopher Bell finished third. Alex Bright and Dave Darland rounded out the top five.(Racin Today)(1-19-2014)
