notes: Late in the session, #43-Almirola limped back to the garage, reporting he lost an engine, but ended up being a tranmission problem, was 29th fastest. Midway thru the session, #4-Harvick coasted to the garage and reports are that it may be an engine problem, which ended up being an oil leak and was repaired. If a team changes a transmission they do not have to start at the rear of the field (per FS1 coverage). Just as practice started, #33-Kennedy spun in turn 3, but didn’t hit anything.
