Pole sitter #24-Gordon chose pit stall 1 [as do most pole sitters].
Outside pole sitter #9-Ambrose took pit stall 37, with an opening behind it.
#48-Johnson, who starts 3rd took the 38th pit stall, with an opening in front of it.
The 43rd and final pit stall was taken by #7-Annett, who starts 42nd.
