#66 Premium Motorsports to skip Phoenix and other races UPDATE:

driver Mike Wallace posted on‚ Facebook: “Looking for additional racing (driving) opportunities Cup, Xfinity, Trucks. The 66 NASCAR Sprint Cup series car I was driving for Premium Motorsports has decided not to field the car at every race starting with not going to Phoenix next week and no additional race schedule at this time. I enjoyed qualifying 16th and making the Daytona 500 with the team.” The team has failed to qualify for the last two races at Atlanta and Las Vegas after making the Daytona 500. The other Premium Motorsports team is the #62 Chevy that Brendan Gaughan will drive for the rest of the Sprint Cup series season.(3-8-2015)
UPDATE:‚ Tanner Berryhill posted a press release on his Facebook page: Weeks after Tanner Berryhill was forced out of full-time NASCAR XFINITY Series competition due to a lack of sponsorship with his family-owned car, he is set to attempt his NASCAR Sprint Cup Series debut at Phoenix International Raceway with Premium Motorsports in the #66 Chevy. Berryhill, 21, has 40 NASCAR XFINITY Series starts since his debut in the series in 2012. 2014 saw full-time competition for Berryhill as he competed in the 33-event schedule, finishing 22nd in points. Berryhill earned a career and team best finish for Vision Racing of 17th at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. The Bixby, Oklahoma native will be the first driver from the state of Oklahoma to run in NASCAR’s premier series since 1981. “I’m really excited about the opportunity Premium Motorsports has given me in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at Phoenix.
