The selections of pit stalls for the GEICO 500 Sprint Cup Series race at Talladega Superspeedway have been made.
Pole sitter #24-Gordon chose pit stall 1 [as do most pole winners].
Outside pole sitter #5-Kahne took pit stall 17, the first pit stall with an opening in front of it.
#21-Blaney, who starts 3rd took the 39th pit stall, the 3rd stall with an opening in front of it.
The 43rd and final pit stall was taken by #48-Johnson, who starts 5th.
