Terry Labonte, commonly called “Texas Terry,” will be the first Texan to be inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame since its inception in 2010. Kahne, the current driver of Hendrick Motorsports’ #5 Chevy, will run a congratulatory decal on his car this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway to recognize Labonte for his career in the #5 as he prepares for his Hall of Fame induction ceremony on Jan. 22, 2016. Labonte ran 387 Sprint Cup Series races in his career for owner Rick Hendrick and accumulated 12 wins, 64 top-five finishes and 125 top-10 finishes.
