Fans at Phoenix International Raceway will be in for a treat at the DAV 200 – Honoring America’s Veterans when Drew Ryniewicz, one of the breakout stars of FOX’s talent-search show “X Factor USA,” performs the national anthem on stage before the start of the race. The talented young singer from Chino Valley burst onto the national scene in 2011 as a 14-year-old when she captured the attention of millions of fans with her unique and soulful renditions of songs such as Justin Bieber’s Baby on “X Factor USA.” Her popularity with the show’s viewers was so strong that host Simon Cowell declared that she was “now known simply as “Drew.'” Since her season on “X Factor USA,” Drew has released her first EP, “Hello it’s Me,” performed across the country, and spent time in Nashville and Los Angeles writing and recording. She recently released a new original single titled Ugly off of a new album set to debut in early 2016. She has also been on tour for the last several months performing and speaking to teens about bullying.(PIR)(11-6-2015)
