The Virginia Lottery is returning to Martinsville Speedway to once again sponsor Virginia Lottery Pole Day on October 28, Speedway President Clay Campbell announced. The Virginia Lottery, which has partnered with the race track since 2014, will also sponsor Pole Day for the STP 500 race weekend in the spring of 2017. The Virginia Lottery generates more than $1.4 million per day for Virginia’s K-12 public schools. Operating entirely on revenue from the sale of Lottery products, the Virginia Lottery generated nearly $534 million for Virginia’s public schools in Fiscal Year 2015. In addition to qualifying for the Goody’s Fast Relief 500, there will be plenty of more excitement on Virginia Lottery Pole Day. The Camping World Truck Series will practice for the Texas Roadhouse 200 presented by Alpha Energy Solutions and the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series will practice for the Goody’s Fast Relief 500.(Martinsville Speedway)(7-19-2016)
