The selections of pit stalls for the Bank of America 500 Sprint Cup Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway have been made.
With the field downsized to 40 cars, three pit stalls (19,42,43) have been eliminated, are not in play and don’t count towards driving through more than three pit boxes.
Pole sitter #4-Harvick chose pit stall 1 [as do most pole sitters].
Outside pole sitter #88-Bowman took pit stall 22 the 3rd pit stall with an opening in front of it.
#24-Elliott, who starts 3rd took the 15th pit stall, with an opening in front of it.
The final pit stall was taken by #14-Stewart, who starts 5th.
